Serving Private & Public Higher Education Institutions & K-12 Schools
BBE has a long legacy of servicing educational markets.
Each area of any school campus has unique design and functionality needs for furnishings and office equipment. With over 20 years’ experience in the educational arena, we’ve addressed them all:
- libraries
- faculty offices
- student and campus life spaces
- science buildings
- mixed academic buildings
- dining halls and dorm
- we even designed a barber shop!
We believe successful outcomes start by having the end goals in mind. So, we establish good working relationships with teams in each of the various school departments. This could be purchasing, facilities, project management, health and safety, and environmental services, as well as the faculty, staff or students who are end-users. Each has their own goals and objectives that need to be addressed when a project is in the specification phase, so that the space and office furniture functions for everyone involved.
BBE launched into the educational market 20 years ago when we became members of the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium (MHEC) which is a nonprofit purchasing consortium for public institutions of higher education. We share a common goal with the Consortium — which is to provide best practices for educational institutions.
